Cheryl and her husband Jeff Nablo reside in Point Washington, near Seaside, Florida with their children Daph, Weezer and MissyBoo.
Cheryl achieved her B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of Arkansas in 1972 and her M.A. in Architecture from the University of New Mexico in 1984. Prior to relocating to Northern Florida, the couple spent over 20 years in Key West where Cheryl honed her skills as an architect, being particularly influenced by the architectural styles and color palette of the Caribbean.
As a visual artist, Cheryl works solely in oils. Always working to music, Cheryl is influenced by the varied musical styles of classical, blues, classic rock and roll, and the improvisational jazz of Miles Davis. Artistically, Cheryl is influenced by the works of twentieth-century abstract expressionist Helen Frankenthaler and Mark Rothko, and the pop art stylings of Robert Rauschenberg and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
