February the month of Love…

What comes to mind when you think of February? Most would say it’s the month of love. Whether it’s sending flowers and chocolates or a simple phone call to say I love you; it’s about showing the ones we love how much they mean to us. Expressing our love to others is important but I would like to challenge you to think about Self-Love.

noun: regard for one's own well-being and happiness (chiefly considered as a desirable rather than narcissistic characteristic.)
 
Ask yourself this question…What will happen if I start practicing self-love? Think of self-love as your foundation. It holds you steady and fuels who you are and how you think about yourself. You can’t expect to love others fully if you don’t love yourself. For those that have experienced the power of self-love, we can agree that the effects are quite magical. Our lives begin to positively shift the moment we start loving ourselves. Life begins to move forward with ease and things seem to fall into place.
                                                           
When we are empowered with self-love our relationships change for the better. Our health improves because we begin to appreciate who we are and what we’ve accomplished leading to positive thinking and appreciating the true beauty that lies within ourselves. As you've heard me say many times, beauty begins on the inside and how you nurture yourself impacts those around you. Practicing self-love can be as simple as treating yourself to a new ‘do or a much-needed massage. It’s simply committing to the idea of nurturing and celebrating you!
 
In the next month, I am excited to share I will be launching the Inner Matrix group. We will meet for five weeks and study mental, emotional, physical and spiritual balance as taught by my mentor, Joey Klein.
 
In today’s busy and hectic world, finding tools to focus the mind and empower your emotions are key to living a more balanced and peaceful life. Inner Matrix Groups provide these tools and are based on both cutting-edge neuroscience and ancient wisdom practices. It illuminates proven approaches to living a rich and meaningful life with the end goal of achieving a life more deeply connected to spirit.
