Birmingham, Alabama has been home to me since shortly after I was born, and I simply love it. Growing up I always wanted to style my friends’ and family’s hair and as soon as I was old enough I got a job working as an assistant in a Salon not far from home. Working there all through high school, I loved watching the stylists and every chance I could I spent asking questions and soaking up as much knowledge on hair styling that I could. I remember watching clients come in after having a bad day, and it seemed like they would always feel better after a new hair color, or trim and I knew that I wanted to be a part of that.

I went to cosmetology school in Birmingham and worked the same great salon for over six years. During that time, I have been fortunate enough to continue my training with some of New York’s most elite stylists at Bumble and bumble University, as well as in Birmingham, Chicago and Atlanta. I have been a network educator for the past couple of years and really take pleasure in sharing ideas with other stylists and my mentors.

Working with a razor is my favorite style of cutting, and I feel like it can soften anyone’s style and it personalizes every style I do for that client. I favor classic cuts and color as well. Clients want options and it makes me feel good to be able to create a look that will work best for them and their personal style.

I also enjoy working with brides on their wedding day and I have earned notoriety being featured as the stylist chosen for NBC 13’s Today in Alabama “Throws a Wedding”. It is essential for me to help Brides feel their most beautiful on their perfect day.

I have recently re-located to the area since getting married in October and I am excited to establish roots in Florida where my husband lives and works for a family business. My priorities are my faith, family and my friends. I am very down-to-earth, I love being close to the water, and I have a great passion for making people feel great about their self. Although, I have moved away from a wonderful family, awesome friends, and an amazing clientele, I am thrilled about the new relationships I’ll make in Florida.
